Terms and Conditions

These general conditions govern the use of services offered by Studio Smile SA dental practice, located in Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva, Switzerland.

1. Scope of application

These general conditions apply to all dental care services provided by Studio Smile SA. By booking an appointment, the patient accepts these conditions.

2. Appointments

Appointments are made by phone, online or in person. Any missed appointment without 24 hours prior cancellation may be subject to a flat fee of CHF 50.

3. Services

Studio Smile provides dental care services including:

• Orthodontics and dental alignment

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are communicated to the patient before any treatment. A detailed quote is provided for treatments exceeding CHF 500. Accepted payment methods are:

• Credit and debit cards

In case of late payment, default interest of 5% per annum will be applied in accordance with Swiss law.

5. Insurance

Studio Smile works with all Swiss health insurance providers. The patient is responsible for verifying their insurance coverage before treatment.

The Swiss billing system distinguishes:

• Complementary insurance: covers preventive and aesthetic care according to contract

6. Liability

Studio Smile is committed to providing care in accordance with professional standards and state of the art. Studio Smile's liability is limited to cases of proven fault.

The patient undertakes to provide complete and accurate information about their health status and medical history.

7. Medical record

The patient's medical record is kept for 20 years in accordance with Swiss legislation. The patient may request access to their file or its transfer to another practitioner.

8. Warranty

Studio Smile offers a warranty on certain treatments (crowns, implants, etc.). The duration and warranty conditions are specified in the treatment plan. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from lack of hygiene or non-compliance with post-treatment instructions.

9. Cancellation and postponement

Any cancellation must be communicated at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations or absences without notice may result in a flat fee of CHF 50.

In case of patient delay exceeding 15 minutes, the practice reserves the right to postpone the appointment.

10. Emergencies

Studio Smile welcomes dental emergencies during opening hours. An additional charge may be applied for emergency consultations outside normal hours.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Studio Smile website (text, images, logo, design) is protected by Swiss and international copyright law. Any reproduction without written authorisation is prohibited.

12. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy.

13. Modification of conditions

Studio Smile reserves the right to modify these general conditions at any time. Patients will be informed of significant modifications.

14. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland.
